What is the 10/40 Window?
The 10/40 Window is the rectangular area of North Africa, the Middle East and Asia approximately between 10 degrees and 40 degrees north latitude. The 10/40 Window is often called "The Resistant Belt" and includes the majority of the world's Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists. Click on a nation on the map for more information. The map is shaded based on the percentage of unreached people groups within each nation. Whereas lighter regions may in some cases have a higher population of unreached peoples, darker areas on the map indicate that a very small percentage of all the various people groups within the borders of that country have a vibrant presence of the church.
